Speedpixel Ventures was invited by HKSTP to attend the Elevator Pitch Competition for three successive years
HKSTP hosted Elevator Pitch Competition (“EPIC”) third year in a row at the iconic ICC skyscraper in Hong Kong. Same as previous years, 100 start-ups worldwide were selected to pitch their ideas in a 60-second elevator ride. The area of technology the competition focuses on includes AI & Robotics, Fintech, Healthcare, Smart City and Next Generation Technology. The start-ups competed against each other for the chance to win an investment prize of USD$120,000.
Andre Lin, Associate Director of Speedpixel Ventures, was proudly invited to be part of the investor judges panel this year. In the end, Dash Systems, a US start-up that designed a precision delivery hardware allowing safe, legal and precision midflight ejection of cargo into designated landed areas of the size of a helipad, was voted to be the winner of the competition.
